Question Fitting front fogs to a 2001 new shape??

    Hello all

I'm on the hunt for information from all and sundry.

My 2001 V70 is minus front fogs, now doing more miles than I thought and would like to upgrade

My dilemma how difficult is it to fit them and are there any pitfalls that I should be aware of

BTW just joined the forum......great site, fast loading and easy for navigation.

    Keep it up

not sure how easy they are to physically fit but think you might need a software upgrade to get them to work (not sure what year they started doing it)

    Cheers Pedro

I am on hols next week and will find out if a software upgrade is required. Hope not, methinks Volvo will be expensive for that one

if you do need the software then there is the option of using just the volvo switch, add another wiring loom & bypassing the ecu. But understandibly theres not many people willing to do it that way on such a new/expensive car
