Upgrading to 302mm Discs

Hi, Folks

My car (S70 2.5Turbo 1998) has 280mm front vented discs as standard. The car came with the 15" alloys.

I've since upgraded to 17" alloys. But what else do I need to make the jump to 302mm discs?

Is it a simple case of just bolting the new 302mm discs to the car, or will I have to upgrade the calipers and other bits and pieces?

(I'm a brake virgin)...

Give us a call at VT not only will we tell you exactly what you need but we will be able to sell it to you ex stock with 10 % disc. and fit it if you want !

You will need to replace the brake caliper carrier's, thats the part the brake caliper slides in and out on. You may also need to replace the flexible hose with a longer one, I've recently done mine and I didn't need to replace them as the ones I had on where as long as the replacements. Other than that its just a bolt on job. Good luck.
