    Auto to Manual?

    Is it possible to change an Auto to a Manual? Apparently they do this in the states, but is has anyone done it here?

    looks like it is possible then! To be honest tho, the cost involved my be prohibitive - unless you are particularly attached to your car you'd be better selling and buying a manual. I guess the lack of manual cars in the US means that more owners are willing to do the transplant!

    If the autobox goes bang, I will give you a shout! Its a shame you cant put a LSD in the autobox, otherwise I would be very happy.

    Apparently Quaife do an LSD for the autobox.....

    Parts needed for swap..

    Transmission, pedals, gearstick and cables, clutch and flywheel(machined),axles/driveshafts, slave cylinder and clutch cylinder with lines. All nuts and bolts for above as well....

    Would it be harder on an ME7 car that is fly by wire? Plus, what about the autobox ECU? It is something I have long thought about!!
