    c70 2.0T chipped or 2.4T help

Basically i was looking for a 2.4T earlier this month and manual 2.4T's are quite hard to come by in the right spec, you can though get the 2.0T and chip it with the rica chip to 235bhp was just wondering if this can cause any probs to the car and how will affect the economy
also just general thoughts on doin this, as i cant get insured on a T5
    cheers james

Some one correct me - but the only 2.0 Turbo is on S60 and the 2.0 litre on the C70 was always NASP??

I wouldnt get too hung up on spec. Just find a good one - Age - Condition and Mileage.

2.0T is available on C70 @ 163 bhp. The S60 2.0T makes 180 bhp, except in Belgium where it makes 163 bhp.

2.0T's where by far the best sellers in the C70's so you should have a very good choice used in them, 2.0t is probably one of the best engines Volvo has made, very smooth and seemingly reliable so personally I would go with that.
