Can a "bleed valve" be fiitted to my T-5, and if so what wouuld be the supposed power increase, what is the cost? Cheers

Thanked 23 Times in 15 PostsYes it can, don't do it though, bleed valves are nasty rubbish things.
If you do want a quick rise then fit an MBC (Mechanical Boost Controller) such as a Dawes device, GBE, etc etc, a ball and spring type controller. These are much better than a bleed valve and cost around £35-£55 depending on the one you go for.
Ask on here for what the safe level to increase the boost to is though, and ensure you have a bost guage in order to set it properly.
RossAll fast cars long gone. Sensible family BMW 3 series now.
Still Volvo links though as my wife has a V50 R design sport and a mildly fettled
T4
