    Question Powerflex Top Engine Mount

I've read 'ere that replacing the standard engine top mount bush with a shiny Powerflex one will make my T5 'roar'.

I spoke to a chap at PartsforVolvosOnline and he said that fitting the poly bush won't make any difference noise wise.....

My T5's quieter than a comatose librarian....I want some roar!!!!

    HELP

quite simply the polybush is a more solid unit and transfers the engine noise down the conecting arm to the bulkhead where the noise reverberates to the engine cabin.....
the noise is audible as a "drone" and as some people say it can become monotonous.....
i also found gearchange better as the engine is held more steady and the rocking the engine transferred to my box was reduced....
    imho a well worth mod....
    cheers

You'll spend the first couple of weeks worrying about new 'noises' coming from the engine.
But the sound at full Chat is worth the mod
