    Wiring in cars......heated seats

Now I have heard that Volvo's usually have all wiring looms installed in the cars regardless of extras that were ordered at the time of purchase.

Does that mean that the seats in my car have the elements for front and rear heated seats already in the seats, the wiring is also ready to go and all i need is to add the switches and power to make it work? If so what other things can I add to the car that arent already there? Heated mirrors?

Reason being I have just found the wiring in the d-pillar for the speakers, so this must have been put in by default at the factory!

    Any info would help

Wiring loom is the same IIRC but I dont think the seat have the elements installed (they'd need reupholstering with the elements added)

Like alot of maufacturers the wiring loom will have most plugs etc for accessories, the seats will not have the elements in as they will have a batch of every type of spec and will bolt in as necessary to suit delivery requirements.

Yep its an 850, but its Saudi spec so I doubt if they had heated seats in it, unless they like sweaty arses out there! If I knew the elements were in the seats, I would go for it. I will inspect it this week.
