will stick with standard mount as the girder type bar thing that it goes on and attaches to the bulk head is designed to crumple in a front end impact so if you have a stiffer bush it does slighty compromise the integrity of that crumple part if you know what i mean

there is some nice stuff on that site,
not sure about the prices tho,
some bits are not to bad on price but some seem a tad expensive

you can buy these at our local motor factors, works out more expensive than the genuine item, but so much easier to fit
the amount of time i have sold these to people (including garages) who have then been on the phone telling me we've supplied the wrong ones is unbelievable. they can prove a right pain to fight at times.
as for that altering the crumple zone, got to say that i doubt it would make any significant difference, if you have hit something hard enough to shunt that bush with any force, your allready in the sh*t anyway, lets face it, lol

i am a fan of OE parts as much as the next parts person, and for my own car i will use OE parts when ever i can. though there are times when the manufacturer has either had a laugh at the pricing of them, or a laugh at those trying to fit them themselves. in these circumstances it doesnt hurt to shop around for alternatives, you can be surprised what you can find
