Speak to Wobbly........It may be that your ABS light bulb has blown - or been pulled in the past to get it thru MOT's. The ABS units solder goes dry and cracks, Wobbly is the repair supremo.
Personally I would check brake callipers and or discs. YOu may have a sticky piston or a slightly warped disc.
Dead easy, and like Dave says, eaier to undo the callipers and carriers together. I suspended mine from the front spring with some string. Just make sure that you dont twist the brake hose when...
Mine blew a cap off, after I loosened it faffing around working our where best to install my boost gauge hose. I fixed it by looping a piece of 4mm silicon hose between two of the nozzley thingies...
Does sound like a wheel bearing.
This is what you want - http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=2_595_782&products_id=3491
Could be turbo oil seals. If it only does it after a long time idling and there is no appreciable oil usage (keep an eye on this) probably not a big deal.
Do you get blue smoke on start up in the...
The bottom part of my PCV system, where the 2 plastic pipes join the turbo induction hose was where my airleak was.
See here http://www.vpcuk.org/forums/showthread.php?t=7285
Just a thought
Check out here. Mine had the same, did this and solved it. Also suggest you replace discs as well.

Beat me by a minute -...
Get the codes re-read - if they are still there then, as you suggested, bulbs could have been pulled, they should light up on ignition on. If so back to the garage and remonstrate, then off to your...
Searched Volvospeed for in car pc and this link popped up.

Most likely suspension top mounts - if you can turn the nut on top of the strut round any distance then they're gone.
Also the drop link bushes go as well.
Both not very expensive - I think...
At the end of the day though, it's just as easy if not easier for any car crook to walk round any supermarket carpark or any street to look for and steal reg no's. Just the luck of the draw with...
Mine occasionally puffs a bit of smoke out the back on cold start in the morning, mind you I think it more likely condensation than oil, as i) it doesn't use any at all, and ii) plugs are nice and...
Check your other vac/airhoses first. My PCV breather hose to the induction pipe had come out and gave the same symptoms.

Here it is. In middle of piccy
You could always try taking the battery out completely for a couple of hours, then the ECU will reset back to default settings. (Nope you will not lose any Maps). Should clear any temporary fault...
I made a special tool out of a bit of wood and a couple of G clamps, and a 2 LB lump hammer. Went in a treat after I realised I was trying to put it in the wrong side :)
Glad to be of some help, first time for anything. Mines been on about 6 weeks now, no issues whatsoever, and the guys didn't even spot it during my MOT & Service...... :)
I spliced mine together with 4mm silicone vac hose. But I also snapped the bigger one underneath and found the green hoselock garden hose fits really nice.

Adam,
Typically how much does a custom map cost over and above the standard RICA maps?
Cheers
Part of the front suspension. If the link mounts wear, then make a clunking noise when going over bumps. Nothing to do with Whhhhoooosssshhhh performance.
Also as with others here, go for the...
You shouldn't run an MBC with a RICA remap, as the map automatically controls the boost. the RICA 310 will boost upto 1.2bar.
If you fool the system to boost over about 1.5bar you are into rod...
I do most oil changes myself - mind you I have learnt my lesson from dropping the sump plug into a bucket of VERY hot oil after a flush and diving my hand in to get it. I really should buy new each...
I agree with what's been said here. RICA & ITG Filter, for performance - strut brace for handling, upgraded brakes for stopping, and just make sure the basiscs are covered off, plugs, leads, dizzy...
