There are colder climates than the UK?

Interesting.
Italy had some 2.0 litres registered as T-%R and T5. we know they aren't proper ones but that's what the vin says.
Having had a look at the evidence it appears that Volvo spent...
Can't beat these threads for the knowledge you get about the differences.
I'd just like to add that here in Australia there is some massive confusion around T-5R and T5.
I own a white 1994 T5...
Thanks Claymore.
Seems very wobbly at the firewall though, or is that mount on a swivel type fitting?
Hi, With the top engine mount are there two bushes that need to be replaced?
The bigger bush closest to you as you stand looking into the engine bay has definitely gone, but when I gave it a...
Thanks for the reply.
Don't have much faith that a repair on the old box will last anywhere near long enough.
Hello everyone.
Could you please tell me if you can ditch the troublesome 5 speed autos (AW55) an upgrade to a 6 speed (AWF21) with relative ease?
Will you need just the box, the ECU and the...
Thanks for the advice. It really is one hell of a noise, not that clear from the video.
Not too sure if its a boost leak as it was boosting better than ever until I heard the noise. (Obviously...
Hello All,
Did an oil change today and replaced a split hose, as soon as I started driving afterwards it makes a terrible noise when boost creeps in.
Not too sure if it's turbo related or more...
Is it possible that a faulty brake position sensor or any other sensor for that matter could cause a hydraulic part to remain open causing a leak?
The more I read the more I'm confused.
Many thanks for the replies everyone.
Yeah postage on a heavy item like that may be pretty extreme.
Its a 1994 Volvo T5.
Was more trying to find out if anyone knew what difference there...
Mine is leaking so I got the model number 9173973 from it and tried to find a replacement from the same year and model.
Found one that looks exactly the same (as some are wildly different) after...
If it was leaking from the sensor it would be highly visible wouldn't it?
Thanks for the reply.
It's an auto.
Have looked at all four corners, nothing visible.
Hello everyone, hope you can assist me on this one.
Seem to be losing a fair amount of brake fluid quite quickly. Had the fault in brake system light on dash so checked fluid and it was low,...
Yeah I'm not too worried about the cat as you dont need MOTs here. My main concern is the downpipe. Did you fit to a straight or angled outlet turbo?
Yeah I think that might be the case, performance was certainly improved.
Did you feel much change with a decat on the T4?
Mine certainly sounded quite a bit louder when I got a straight pipe welded in its place.
There's only 1 suitcase muffler in the middle of the system on the 850's, newer cars may have two mufflers?
The bashed one or a different one?
KFC....... was yours an OBX downpipe?
Thanks for the replies.
Some video would be great.
Off the shelf OBX doesn't have a cat does it? I'm currently catless on the original exhaust system and was wondering if the BHP gains from...
Cheers Cherry.
From your original post you seem a little unsure if that is the straight or angled downpipe, was it on the car when you acquired it or did you put it on yourself?
I know they...

Is this over squashed then or not?
Yeah thanks for that, did do a search but nothing came out when I typed OBX.
Have just finished reading a post and there was a thumbnail picture of an obx downpipe that had been squashed to fit....
Does anyone know if the OBX exhaust that the Americans tend to buy fits RHD cars or is their a major difference with routing/fitment between the two?
TIA
