Cars do run alright with this done but the valve is on the car for a reason and turbo life can be reduced by doing it. An induction kit gives waste gate flutter even with a dump valve on
prob be alright, most standard stuff is fairly up to the job. could look at a custom stainless system for 300 quid with a standard looking tail pipe and a couple of silencers if need be to keep the...
Had it custom made at i place called i tuned in watton, norfolk. local power flow dealer wasn`t interested in doing it cos he`s ****e, bloke did mine is a really good fabricater though, building an...
yea alot quicker and harder, spins the wheels in 4th now, so a worth while purchase!!
300 for the down pipe, i already had a cat back system on it, and yea, its loud, gonna put a silencer in it not cos of the noise but to get rid of the rasping sound the stainless steel system is...
Just had this put on my s70 t5, mated to a 2.5" system and all i can say is it sounds mental!! No cat or silencers just straight through!
Pulls alot harder when the turbo spools up too, which was...
Those volans would look pretty good on a black S70 i reckon:-), would be interested if do replace them
could be interested in the wheels that come off mate, pm me if want rid:-)
mesh filter (sounds pretty good) with bottom half of airbox left in with original air feed works pretty well
any idea how much your looking for mate?
thats that settled then! lol
oh yea, looking at putting matching calipers on too, not just the discs!
Does anyone know if there is much work involved in doing this?
Obviously need bigger than standard wheels but just wondered if its a job worth bothering doing and whats involved.
This is of course...
took my heat shields off at the weekend and with a bit of wrestling came out pretty easy, should imagine there a sod to get back in though!
pretty much the same thing though, bit of free power :-)
sort of, messing with the actuator rod tends to just increase boost slightly, and doesn`t put the same sort of pressure on the wastegate to keep it closed, a new wastegate would help even more as...
something that 200sx and skyline owners do quite alot. its a bit of a **** to do, but took all my heat shields off to get to the re circ. I took the wastegate off then just put 1 sort of 2/3mm washer...
I mean washers! was fiddleing earlier with pipework and a blanking plate and tried the old washers behind wastegate bracket trick, cars loads quicker and pulls really hard, can`t beat free...
doesn`t sound the norm! could be faulty seals or a hose not attached properly. did you clean the face of the re circ before fitting the blanking plate? believe forge valves are rebuildable if faulty
hi, looking at getting my car re mapped soon, how do i contact hamish, what company?
All depends what your after and what sort of running costs are acceptable to you!
When changing things like downpipes and turbos etc it never hurts to upgrade ecu or remap, even if to get the car...
