Thanks Alan,
I've made a potential deal on a smaller car, which is a shame, but It'll do 35-45 MPG and is less for bits, without laying out more money to get it.
Well the old girl must have been listening, as it sat there light free during the test, and got 12 months lovely ticket!!
That was the good news, the shame of it are that the car will now be...
My point exactly!
Thanks guys, I'll see what happens...
...............And the bloody ABS/TRACS light now is on most of the time:mad:
And the rear brakes probably need some work on them.
I'm readying myself for a fail.
Only question is, why does the...
Having reset the fault codes, the light has now been off for 7-80 miles. The yellow warning light coming on coinsided with restricted boost.
Seems all better again now, and might be outing the car...
Right, reset the codes after getting
2-3-1 Long term fuel mixture too lean or rich in part load stage
Now, what in laymans terms does this mean, and where should I be looking?
Thanks
Driving along today thinking how nice it was to have some boost back, when the lambda light came on and the car lost boost, I assume going into limp mode.
I guess tomorrow will be spent checking for...
Looks stunning!
Gents,
I've gone over the car during my "where's my boost gone" mission, and discovered my exhaust looks older than Stone Henge:worried:
Can anyone recommend a decent replacement/upgrade system?...
Right, that's all the encouragement I need to get my arse in gear and finally do mine.
Thanks mate!
After plenty of messing around with the dealer, the correct part arrived, and fitted perfectly (As you'd hope for a Volvo part)
Strange thing was, the dealer said it had to come from Sweden, but...
Welcome to the club !
From what I've read, the limiting factor with the auto's seems to be the heat caused by the increased stresses placed that comes from tuning.
I have seen somewhere additional...
Someones making it up as they go along.....muppets
Blimey thats cheap, where from mate?
The bloody dealer managed to order two hoses and they were both wrong!
They've told me the one I want has to come from Sweden and it won't be here till Wednesday.
How hard can it be?
The only...
You Sir are a wind up merchant!! PMSL
Just a quick update, the car ran as before today, and when I got to work today, blipping the throttle revealed a split in the hose as hoped for. I've got two different ones on order, as my local...
Thanks guys, update to follow
Evening gents,
Just a couple of quick questions......
1. The car began hesitating under load tonight, and I noticed it would nt achieve full (uprated) boost levels, and when I persisted and tried...
Lifes never dull for you is it mate!!
Mines the same Alan!
To echo what Callyuk said, I do mostly town driving and only get 25-26 in careful driving, and 22-24 if not. It only goes over 26 on a run, so you're not doing too bad. (I'd still check the brakes...
People have reported brakes sticking on these, that'll hurt the MPG.
And for what it's worth, subject to your answer to Lady Mopps boost gauge question, it may have been remapped. Mine (cue volley...
My car was WAY too dirty to take pictures of, so you won't see it amongst these...nor unfortunately the Testarossa owner so looked my car up and down in disgust with it's prancing moose stickers!!
