Found a couple of specialists int north west. But in the mean time i looked in the fusebox again. The random wire is from the telephone fuse. No idea why as theres no phone. Took a pic of the fuse...

Reckon I could try a new fuse? Or take it to an auto electrician? as I wouldn't know how to check for other issues. And Ill be sure to replace the headlight fuses too.

So im finding it impossible to jack the car up with the one in the spare tyre. It is a volvo one. The hook doesnt sem to go into the jack points and im not balancing it on the top. Any ideas?
