use the few mm of play to push it back in and jerk it out very quickly and sharply
there is definitely nothing else to it
it is just a case of pulling out with a combination of pulling by hand...
there are two release bearings
release bearing / clutch slave cylinder in one unit which is about £100
or
release bearing about £35
with seperate slave clylinder
