I like the front's height. It would be interesting if you take it for a thumping down a coutnry lane to see if it's on the bumpstops or not.

I know this is daft, but how do you go about reading the codes for the ABS? The last 1000 miles have had it on four times, all sorted with a quickie (often rolling) restart. When I read the codes...
Give the connection gromit an inspection / wiggle; the black wire jobber that goes into the door from the car body. Apparently it's common to die.
At risk of being patronising, for the turbo to do its thing you should be 3k+ rpm. Flooring it in 5th at say 60mph won't be using the turbo much, whilst in 3rd it would be. For the fella in the Vtec,...
Nice one Gary, you read my mind. Are they primed ready for painting?
These are 6K, half way through the install. Go figure which side is which ;)

Yeah the wiring plugs are visible when you fold the seats back, but most don't hook up to anything. Which I assume are for heated seats.
Would it be the case that bigger injectors do not increase your HP, but prevent it from dropping off as much? In the same sense that a bigger intercooler gives no great power increase (if any) but...
On ebay or 'trader?
I'm with Blackbeast. Tracs is only ever mildy useful in the snow / ice, and even then it just sounds like you've got something cought underneath the car. I would worry if the ABS packed in though.
2k on ebay. A cheeky 3.5 on autotrader?

If you always have 98 octane available get the full fat.
A flushing pump... what about a turkey baster?
Hey Redbrick, do your kits take time to warm up? If so, you may not be able to 'flash' people - when I start the dipped lights up on mine they take around 5 secs to go from nothing to super bright;...
Hmmn well I paid nearly 200 for mine from hids4u.co.uk, on the basis that I've seen loads of cheap kits that work for a while but the soldering etc is crap and they break. Think of the vibrations etc.
Dunno about keeping it topped up, but consider getting the clutch done at the same time if it's a manual
Wow they *all* bent. You should totally put them on eBay :saythat:
That's bloody lucky!
I think I know the one redbrick. Lacks a proper front R bumper? Owned by a car dealer and semi volvo specialist in Bristol.
So is this an 850R if it's in green? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1997-VOLVO-850-R-Estate-LOW-MILES-89k-Immaculate-850R_W0QQitemZ330042186586QQihZ014QQcategoryZ9872QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have this problem too on an 850. Thinking about dumping that gooey seal stuff in there...
I think the 850R and S/V70s had stronger internals than the older 850s, but not by much.
Hi Tomcat, apologies for not reading this update sooner:sorry: You have a PM.:Handshake
Those £££££££s are more trouble than they're worth. I never got mine to properly go back under the cover; so i do without.
