I had a leak from the nearside gator many moons ago & sourced a used rack
which a local garage fitted for me.
They charged me £100 with no receipt for the work & said that they would
not...
Cut down roll pins ??
I had this (similar) problem with my V70 T5.
Problem turned out to be a duff MAF.
I un-plugged the MAF & the car went like a scolded cat.
New Maf sourced, problem solved.
Edit : Above may...
Im sure Andrew (user id Niles) had an indepth convo with someone
regarding this issue with someone a little while back.
Turns out that the tappet noise could be & was in his case air pockets
in...
I know lol.
It was knacked & ran sweet as a nut un-plugged confirming that the Maf
had croaked it.
You could but it would dump from both.
Its cheap enough to install a one way valve to keep the recirc from dumping.
Pressure in the vac line keeps the recirc closed hence the reason for the
one way valve.
The valve keeps the pressure to the recirc & boost is now dumped via the DV.
If you didnt keep pressure...
I got my one way from Halfrauds & it cost a couple of quid.

Get yourself a oneway valve from Halfrauds to keep the pressure in the vac

Yes it is.
My re-circ is blocked off using a one way valve.
Mine hasnt thrown any codes since i did it.
Mines fine :-)
He was on foot & you was in your car?
Looking at his feedback, he is into selling Volvo's on a regular basis so having
three wouldnt suggest anything dodgy to me.
90% Preperation.
10% Paint.
A decent painter cannot make a badly prepared car look good with new paint.
The actuator arm will come out it you keep turning it.
When you remove it, keep a note of how many turns it takes so when it
is replaced you can get the setting correct.
The nut that is just...
Have a read of this if you havent already.

Just lop 2'' of the original stick mate :P
He is going to buy a Mini Metro roflmfoa lol
So 'undue care & attention' on behalf of the lorry driver for illegally entering
a lane that ended 200ft up the road :argue: lol
I think Niles has tried hard enough for too long.
He is constantly hitting 71mph on Kents finest autobanes lol
Regardless of lane position by the officer, roundabouts etc the lorry should
not have been in lane 3 full stop.
I never mentioned laquer as i wouldnt bother.
Best solution to the problem.
It gives him a 'woody' lol
Wet sand them with 1200 wet/dry & then buff them up with that stuff you
have brought. If tha fails, get some Meguiers PlastX from Halfrauds.
