Is the TDi auto box interchangeable with the T5 auto box? Just wondering if so as a replacement would be a lot easier when mine finally goes! (and I'll get the same idea of limits here too).

I'd probably have gone even more lairy, but that looks good.
(tempted with a standard issue Cossie style 4" outwardly rolled on mine, lol!)
Ok, some progress!!
Got the lead now, and it's all working.... now to work out what it all means and how to sort it.
First reading showed this up in the 'AW 50-42TDi' section...
Then after a...
Lead ordered, see what happens with that one!
On ilexa's site they advise to get the demo working first before buying the full vesrion... and I can't get that to work :(
I've also mailed them, but there's been no real help as yet. Just asking...
I've installed both the trial version from ilexa and a cracked version from the above torrent but I can get neither to connect.
"interface error check connections" is as far as I can get when I try...
Found a copy online here:
https://labaia.in/torrent/4090699/Vol-FCR.1.3.6.Cracked.rar
Not plugged it in yet, but I'm fully expecting to be presented with a load of codes that mean nothing to me...
Thanks, but not near any of those places soon!
Anyone got a copy of the software I could have? :)
I'm near Glasgow, but often travel all over the UK too!
Ok, cool.
After a quick search I found this online which seems free.... (not installed it yet).

Any recommendations for what...
Well the lambda light just popped on in my 96 850 TDi....
What should I do now? I've heard that the OBD2 is hassle and not compatible with typical readers, so any advice would be much appreciated!
Would like a remap and dyno session, but I'll be at a drift day then!
Another time..
Brakes sorted! And looking much better after the 302mm upgrade... (just need to clean the wheels now!)

It all makes sense now! Thanks for that, top advice, and great to see pics in there.
Quick bit of googling and I'm guessing it's this... #6816114
...
Any pics of them or part numbers so I know what I'm asking for? Parts desks at main dealers are typically hugely unhelpful in my experience...
Found a better recent pic of it whilst at a shoot....

F*ck knows.... a garage did something to it and it sat better for a bit, now saggy again. Does the actual bumper break internally, or does a mounting point on the car more commonly fail?
A quick update on the 850. Now on a set of JOM coilovers... Down about as far as it can go before sitting on the bumpstops!
Also got the windows tinted, wind deflectors, the aircon recharged, a good...
Cheers!
I think it was.... nowt to do with me though, just a scrap yard tailgate.
Not at all! And it'll look even better soon when its lowered.
I'm also still continually surprised how quick it is!
No, not wrapped. Got a full respray ;)
Personally I think a huge UK sized plate looks pretty awkward on the 850, and that's exactly why I bought a plate with an 'I' and two '1's in it so I could...
Should have also said, extra thanks to Claymore for the replacement front wing too!
Here's some before and after pics on my 850 running project which is soon to be documented in Retro Cars magazine....
A full on budget facelift which I'm really liking how its turning out.

If I was spending a grand on my 850 I'd be wanting some awesome wheels or more power, not a mildly amusing phrase! :D
