Hello, I have a 2006 V70, 2.4, manual, non-turbo, 70K

It has a 'squeak', which sounds like some sort of belt noise, that happens under acceleration at around 2K then tails off, it doesn't squeak...

Yes, the USA Spec thing works really well, I found one on E-Bay, fitted in 30 mins, there are instructions in the ICE section.

That's to do with the DIP switch positions ... it does work, I think you switch DIP 2 to 'off'

Thanks to everyone for their replies, handbrake has been behaving perfectly of late so I'm not quite sure what was going on there.

Out of interest, what is 'induction noise' - would it be specific...
