Just had a text from the guy who bought the Saffy, he is looking at selling it once the wheels are refurbed. Looking for £2500 ish so if anyone is interested then pm me as im not on here much at the...
Not quite right big lad, was an abs sensor fault but I threw a spanner in the works by getting a perfectly good abs ecu refurbed by a baffoon prior to changing the sensors which was sending sporadic...
I changed my S70 rear sensors last year using those Ebay specials, worked a treat and never had a problem in over12 months
I saw this beaut yesterday, its a peach and a majestic resto worthy of a Volvo loving demi-god. Good work big fella!
And it's home at last, good to see and here's to a hectic fortnight!
I would offer to help but don't trust myself next to a freshly painted shell
Awesome news, saw a flash of yellow as I drove past on Saturday so knew they were on with it
I used a 90 degree bend, but it isn't ideal if you are trying to use the standard airbox. Its a bitch, but it does fit with persuasion and brute strength.
Thought you were popping over for the 3in throttle body yesterday Sam?
Looks like you were a bit busy tho lol
Jealous.com.
The end :-)
What I would really like next but a good un is a bit out of my price range for now.
I was just on my way up to sort this for you big lad, never mind it's the thought that counts :-)
Just looking into these SYrons, it appears that they dont do 205 45 17 anymore, only 215's?
Anyone got a lead on any info for this as they arent available from Germany as Colin did last time....
Oh dear, cue the nosebleed when he hits out of Yorkshire....rhubarb and custard paint scheme anyone :-)
I think I saw a post on t5d5 quoting £65 ish exchange, if Tim is going to map your car it's better to get one of his throttle bodies as he rates em better for mapping
Even down to the haircuts, almost a tribute act we are
And now his skill set is complete, is there nothing the big lad cant do?
looking sweet big lad, should have let you loose on the S70 as practice instead of body shop :-)
He's too busy with the Gul to do any work with his 1972 midget...did my own brakes last weekend don't ya know :-)
Just getting it in before anyone else does !
What can I say....the chicks just dig the babygrows :D
Hmmm, I'm goin to try and take a look at a 850r with spoiler fitted to be sure. Don't want to drill a hole but looks like it was the only way from what we could see. I have a rubber fitting that goes...
My original 18T was the same, ran perfect no smoke or noise but on removal it had a lot of play when moved side to side.
My spoiler will hopefully be going on I the next week or two, just having the boot lid painted first.
On trial fitting it does seem a bit out, ideally looks like it would need the center support...
It all depends Mark, lets see how it goes at the paint shop next week. If its not good then teddies will be flung and feck it, I might even break it
Mark, when I bought the Gul that Pete now has, I was so exited but once we put it on the ramp and saw the extent of the work involved I knew it was too much on both practical skills and cash fronts....
If I buy it, Pete can sort it out when he's done his and we can be like twins :ices_rofl
