So my S60 D5 2002 is Phase 2. Pity about the Ford bit.
but what are Phase 2 models?
Tom Walkinshaw Racing
Not mine; had a ride in this on a recent visit to a friend in Scotland. Any guesses?
I'm enjoying this.
Isn't it the case that if you have separate main & dipped beam lights they will be H1's. H4's (3 contacts on the bulb) are for headlights with combined main & dipped beam.
Not if the Halfrauds kit has an H4 in it;)
BTW, Cali-T5, was it Auditastic? (Just someone we know from another site)
Cheers, Chris.
215 miles round trip @ say 25MPG. About £40 I reckon.
Oh, and you're getting it done by someone who really knows his stuff.
Cheers, Chris.
Just about a tonne.
Be glad to, Justin. When's your next meet?
Cheers, Chris.
Recently obtained from a well known guy on the 480 website
http://volvo480.dragons.org.uk/forum/
a re-mapped ECU. Haven't had it on a dyno yet, but others with it are seeing about 170-175 BHP. I...
Ludicrous asking price; still, I suppose it's worth a try, might be an idiot out there. I'd want to see paperwork to back up that mileage claim & if it's genuine it's still worth less than £1000.
Pretty well thanks, Justin. Took the 480 to Hamish a while ago. He put it on the dyno, fitted a bleed valve & increased BHP from 100 to 115 & torque from 160 to 200 NM. Wheel figures of course. The...

Yes, main dealer. About 3 months ago.
Here's the invoice with part No's from when I had mine done. Mine's a 1996 855. I asked them to replace all the pipework too.
Cheers, Chris.
Your local Volvo dealer can get you a handbook. Costs about £6.
Exactly the same as mine was. Once they're on, they stay on. Switching off & on again will put them out if the fault has disappeared, so this will happen if the fault is intermittent. The fault code...
You want to contact Volvotuning at Bromsgrove. They'll repair your ECU for about £150, with 12 months warranty.
I think it's not unusual for the system to throw a wheel sensor fault when in fact it's the ABS ECU at fault (& this is quite a common fault, due to dry joints). Wobbly Dave, where are you?
Cheers,...
Reminds me of the 122S I had back in 1966. That had a roller blind in front of the rad controlled with a chain in the passenger footwell. You could pull it up on a cold morning & the engine warmed up...
I wonder whether the problems people seem to be having might be due to the need for a fluid change. When I had new discs & pads about 15,000 miles ago, I got them to change the fluid too. That was...
I, too have never had a problem with the 280 brakes, all OEM. That includes a modest amount of track time.
I've got some genuine Volvo if you need it.
