Think it is 100k'ish or 10 years as advised by my local Indy. From various forums it seems to be a good idea to replace the water pump at the same time
It sounds more like the window seal isn't seated properly. 1 small hole would let in that much water.
Is the rubber seal still reasonably soft? If it is bit 'stiff' you could try some Gummi...
There is a slight bit of adjustment available on the windows but not much. Had a similar problem on my rag top. If you have a good indy near you I would take in and explain the problem, they should...
Keep your eye on the VOC forums, there have been a few sets of Ixions on there for sale over the last few months
Glad to hear it is now sorted mate.
Those figures are the same as mine from the RR day, standard car with just the BSR map
Best wishes for a long and healthy future together
Are those TSW alloys? They look like the ones I'm looking at.
Hmmm, not sure about the latest 'mod' it makes the front end look too high to me :D
Hang in there mate. It is still a good car that has decided to have a blonde moment. I can't help thinking you had more air going in than you had going out and that fitting a more free flowing...
Nice wheels, looking at something very similar for the C70
You should get together with Oblark,
Your car and Rob's engine would be the dog's danglies :D
Your attention to the details is what's going to make this a true classic, awesome work :)
I had this done on my car, C70 even though it has only done 45k on the basis I hadn't seen anything bad about the treatment.
During the treatment the car was revved to 1500rpm for the duration and...
yep, that's the one I'll be going for. After seeing the PFV 'how to' I should manage to get it done with only minor injuries :D
Noob question...What's that nice shiny blue thing hanging off the...
I was in Martin's car last week and the vibration through the steering was not something I want on mine. I decided on the standard square one with the intention of fitting a square poly bush later as...
I'm about to change the top engine mount bracket on the C70 from the round bush one to the square bush type. If anyone wants it for a project or spare let me know and you can have it, free, if not...
The Snake pass is a great bit of road when it is clear and dry, good for a 'test drive' :D
[QUOTE] I'll be about later Jim, after 8pm [QUOTE]
No problem mate, not even sure it has turned up yet until I get home :)
Bugger, if I'd known you two were loafing around today I could have popped over (with a top mount bush/bracket which needs fitting :D )
Hope Martin gave you a chocolate :)

The more I look at those wheels the more I think they would look good on my C70, especially in 18's :)
No steering wheels were harmed during the whole process :D
After all the wind and rain of last weekend, I got into the car at 07:00 Monday morning, put by rucksack behind the drivers seat and drove to work. got out of the car with a wet arse, took by...
Happy Christmas one and all. Hoping 2014 brings everyone the mods they want (except my steering wheel going to Graham)
All I need now is a nice shiny baseball bat to educate the great unwashed to...
