I can check at work tomorrow but I am sure that when I looked, all the 850's, V70/XC70/S60/S70/S40 etc have the same 108x5 stud pattern, ET and 68.1mm centre bore. As I say, I will check. GM 5 Stud...

You're putting too much on then. You really need very little and then work it into the paint with a microfibre cloth. Take a look here for some info:

Not sure who mentioned the Toyo T1-R's v F1's but I would not recommend the Toyo's. The original T1S were fantastic in both wet and dry. The newer ones have a harder, continuous band of rubber...
Hmm, I have just worked out the the 16/17" wheels does not matter. I have a set of GSI vectra wheels in the garage which will fit with a set of Wobbly bolts.

65.1mm bore

Ok, I think I have been comparing them to the older 2.3 R's and the non AWD versions as the last 2.3's seem to have virtually the same spec as the 2.4's...other than the mandatory Auto box.
Also,...
Yup, I know the Land Rovers break down frequently. Fortunately I have a friend who is a main dealer technician who can get all the diagnostics done free and gets massive discounts on parts. Not too...
Cool, the 5spd auto definitely improves things a bit in my eyes! is there a manual override on it? I have to admit that, although a petrolhead, I have never paid much attention to auto's so...
No,it's the very last of the Phase one V70's (S70/V70 chassis rather than S60/V70 chassis). It is a 2.4 engine with the 19T turbo, 265bhp and a bit more torque too. I believe they came out with...
Unfortunately there isn't anything there that has info on the 2.4 version...thanks for the link though. Another question I was wondering about was if the 2.4 AWD came with the 16" or the 17" alloys?...
Do any of you guys have a brochure in pdf format for the 2.4R? I have finally narrowed down my selection of cars to pretty much a Mondeo ST TDCI for fuel economy, a Discovery TD5 for practicality...
if you're still struggling to get this downloaded properly, go to www.autoclips.net and search the Volvo bit.
That sounds very similar to what I have read on VVOC and Scoobynet. Good product and well intentioned customer service although the customer service sometimes doesn't live up for whatever reason.
I was actually just thinking about the Godspeed conversion..a bit less than the other options.

The 325mm AP's grab my attention. £1100 aint too bad.

Hopefully this is of some help. I use the Halfords +50% bulbs in my vectra and they seem to be pretty decent ( nothing can make up for the awful reflectors). I have been on holiday the last few...
That would mean 18" wheels wouldn't it? I guess the P2 R brakes would too. The advantage of the AP kit is that you can get away with the standard 17" wheels.
What car are those 4 pots sourced...
I was aware that there was an issue with tyre wear being responsible for killing the boxes but wasn't sure what the actual weakness was in the box. Is it something that is a terminal failure, ie...
What exactly is the weakness on the transfer box? Is it this propshaft? If so, how much would something like that tend to cost?
If I get one over 100k then I would prefer the dealer as it means...
Ah god, it's way too confusing at this time of night! I noticed the blanking plate on some...I guess that could be a future mod but brakes would be the first thing followed by one of the high power...
Thanks for that company, I saw a few of them on Autotrader in various searches but I've bookmarked the site to keep an eye on. It is going to be 2-3 weeks befroe the money is sitting in my account...
Thanks for that link!
Unfortunately, looking on Autotrader and the like they seem to start at 5k for a high miler up to whaterver you are willing to spend...most of the decent ones seem to be...
Hopefully you guys will be able to give me a hand here. I was originally considering an 855R but, now I have more money to spend, I am now looking towards a V70R. However, I have got a few...
Good Year Eage F1 GSD3's are simply awesome but you will pay for their grip with lifespan.
