So it has, never used that link before.
Pleased it's still going. Both of my old Volvos are. Just be nice to see what the old girl looks like, not seen her in a while!

Yes, I did a DVLA check on it and that said it still had tax and test.
Be interesting to see it and find out if anything has changed. I think it had done about 114k when I sold it in 2009/10.
I'm not sure I'm willing to pay to know its whereabouts lol. Be nice to see it though.
Would love another one some time.
You know when you think about your old cars and wonder if they're still alive?
Well, I did a DVLA enquiry on my old 850 T-5 and it turns out that she is still taxed, which I am rather pleased...
I know this is a bit irrelevant, as my P2 was a D5, but I thought a couple of general observations might be useful. The P2 is a much more modern car but, having recently had a ride in an 850, I was...
My old T-5 had a 4" outwardly rolled tailpipe that had been robbed from a Cossie!
That is true! I've sent him a PM so we shall see.
I'm not really looking for a project, as it's going to be my every day car.
Just seen some pictures of that. It looks well on it's way to selling.
I'm quite taken by the colour I must say!
Wish I could find a decent one for £650. Or £1000 for that matter...
I don't expect it to be mint, they're all around twenty years old, so there's going to be bits here and there that aren't perfect, but there are limits.
I think he probably should have mentioned...
Thanks for the info. This is the car I saw, hopefully the link will work ok: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/251679658721?nav=SEARCH
Sadly it wasn't really as nice as the ad suggests. The right rear arch...
Been a good while since I've looked at one, and I'm viewing a T-5 in a couple of hours that has popped up local to me.
It's low mileage and an auto. Any areas I should particularly look at? I've...
That looks ace!
My old T-5. It had lowered springs, but they were fitted when I bought it, so I couldn't say what they were. I believe the rears might have been chopped a little too, just for extra dodgyness!
...
Black/grey/red. Most colours really, just not too into green ones!
Find me a manual estate for a reasonable price and I will happy buy it ;)
Looks great Andy, I really must see this in the metal some time!
Still want one :(
Thanks for the constructive replies. Less thanks to those who indulged in the bickering...
To be honest, I can't believe that you have to drop the subframe just so that you can fix the anti-roll...
Do feel free to wind each other up somewhere else ;)
So it's a sub frame drop job then?
Oh my lord, really?
I knew there was a reason I liked old Fords, talk about over-complicated...
I presume this type of thing then?...
Got some knocking at the front end, and got an advisory on my last MOT for the rears being worn.
A very quick eBay has revealed very few options, and I'm led to believe that if you go to the main...
Sadly I'm lazy and just handed it to someone else to fix
Yes mine was much the same. I had had a look at it and had my suspicions that it was on it's way out, but it was still quite...
This forum does make me sad sometimes. There always seems to be bickering about something.
I had an inner CV collapse a couple of weeks back. Sadly it was while I was driving along, so I very...
I do really like these. You get the nice bits of a Focus ST, but without the rudeboy bits.
I wonder, do people have clutch trouble when you start tweaking? It seems quite common that once you...
That may seem a bit conservative, and following tradition, but I just feel that the blue clashes with the colour of the car. I've seen strange coloured wheels work very well, but these just don't...
