They did, and they called it the S60 T5 :) - Same 2.3hpt engine, better chassis.

funny enough, the biggest problem with the BD pads is the squeal!!!

It's not the running it effects so much, but with a carPC - electrical supply with a constant voltage rather than a steep drop...

It is probably the boot lock or the wiring going into the tailgate then.
The system will unlock automatically if it thinks something isnt locked properly.
