Sheff and Meredith in Leicester. Last year. Rear main seal, new clutch, two new front wishbone arms, new coolant. £580 all in. So i'd be looking for quite a bit less than £500.

Not sure, but there is a line between this being normal and a problem. I'm sure I read somewhere that a small amount of this is to do with controlling emissions. I noticed similar behaviour when I...
Well I use them for all my servicing now. Used to go to speeds in Nottingham. However when they started to treat me like a less than valued customer and wanted over a grand for two front lower arms...
Sorry about that. Pzorb filled in for me.
Very roughly, they are opposite Leicester Royal (over the other side of Welford road), on one of the smaller back roads.
For those of you for whom Leicester is a little closer than Nottingham, Sheffield and Meredith are also very good on both cost and service.

Been using them for a year or two and...
Adjustable Koni's and springs are available here:
LARKSPEED
for £380. This is the option I have been considering but just haven't gotten round to yet.
Tailgate rattle - repair kit available.
Thermostat - replace for a few quid.
Rear upper suspension mounts - again pretty cheap.
You got a spoiler for £24 :jaw:
Did you actually mean the bracket for £24? If not, can you tell me who your dealer is?
Is this with the engine running? If so then 12.25 is actually pretty low. It should be more like 13.5-14V
Nice car, and good price as well. Lucky you :B_thumb:
Went to the local Selectatyre place and got two Vredestein Utracs on the rear. Can't remember their cost exactly but I also got a front puncture fixed and a 4 wheel laser alignment for the total of...
Yeah, you are probably right. It is interesting reading about the foam technology especially when ITG reckon you never have to clean them!
Interesting.. My fear would be that if the volvo paper filter obviously picks up a load of dirt very quickly and the ITG less so, then the dirt must be going somewhere, probably somewhere that the...
Does the ITG panel filter need cleaning regularly then?
Columba's, No. Perfo's, Yes.
Does this help?

Oh, and I too recovered from a fob that just stopped working by reprogramming it - nothing to do with batteries.
Another thing I did was stripped down the fob and cleaned the contacts and...
Aren't the key's actually chipped though, so that the car won't start unless you actually use the proper key? I doubt the fuse gets past the immobiliser, just the central locking. I thought that is...
