switched my air con on today

i havent used it since i had the new ETM fitted,

anyways it felt a little hesistant from time to time when air con was on,
tickover and everything else felt same,...

i remember how frustrating it was,

was night and day mate once changed.

it was totally different car,,i was quite happy with performance before it but knew there was a problem,

acceleration is a different ball game now

is on mine now,,,i think my old one ended in 044 or 045 ;)

but it seems to be the bottom bulb in the top of the 2 light clusters

i thought even for 50 quid it was worth a punt ;)

and a bad MAF definately exaccerbates a bad ETM

not one of the new ones ? £65-ish as they are quite poor,

i got a genuine one off there from a breakers they tend to range from 25-50
mine was off a C70 T5

there are plenty of breakers selling maf's on ebay

i bought mine for £24 + delivery, it was stated as a C70 T5 maf :D

general price for an ebay maf has been around 40-50

no probs,,

it does sound very similar to what i had

mine was strange though, as button was definately clicking

and would open the boot with the other button ( yet i still changed battery ) Lol :D

i am taking it as there was a bit of crap in the...

you could do with someone closer to you to borrow a maf off to try

i managed to pick one up off ebay for a round £25



Just to add i also had tried previous running with maf disconnected, and...

it does sound like Maf, will it stay in boost >?

mine used to drop out of boost when changing from say 2nd to 3rd,,,,like it had to build up again,,,and mine was the Maf,,

closely followed by...

ETM, drop links, bushes ( clonking) all doors lock/unlock with remote :D

I think thats about it, they are a pretty solid car :D

oh yeh,,don't expect to do a fast turnaround in car parks, ;) ...

i replaced battery,,no joy

so i took it to bits and gave it the old air duster inside on the switches.

didn't work immediately, but just started working again about 5 minutes after...

as above really,

only started to do it today ,,changed the battery and no change,


any ideas guys ?
