Must be getting confused, so you're not Aftershock from Hartlepool?
Congrats on the sale btw, you beat me to it ;)
Don't tar me with your brush blackwolf ;)
I'd just bought the car and was showing the lads @ work. Honest lol
You'd notice it and as stated it's that slow you'd have some time to fix the problem. Difficult to get your foot in and pull the strap hard enough to start the mechanism though.
I know for a fact...
Que?
Pull on the red straps in my car and the seats would lean forward. Keep pulling and the seats would automatically start to move forward as well.
It's a slow and arduous process mind you!
Wanna buy some pegs Dave?

FFS I see threads like this and I think I sold my car too cheaply.
The C70 has definately retained it's value.
Surely you would get more from someone on here? How many miles has it done?
Try a shake before taking the lid off. I found that removing the power cable for about 30 seconds allowed it to reset itself and it would start working again.
Better to try that first IMO.
As...
Last service it was filled with Shell Ultra Helix 5w40 Fully Synthetic.
10w40 would be the nearest to that :)
Here's a tip..... don't :uglyhamme
What are you wanting to tow?
Simon,
You don't post as oilman on the NPOC do you?
There seem to be a hell of a lot of oilmans about :D
Hmmmm....think I can only see it cos it's cached on the PC.

Difficult to find pictures of a nice looking S80 although I might take a quick picture of the one at work.
Yeah I think I'd probably go for the S60 too I've had enough of the barge like handling...
Nebulas make a huge difference to this car..
New shape looks nice too

Never been a big fan of the S80 especially compared to the S60. It's looks more like an American sedan in my eyes. The S60 on the other hand just looks stubbier with almost a sporty style to it. I...
NGKs here as well, although I think mine were the Iridiums.
Last service was @ VT and they recommend Shell Ultra Helix 5w40 but it's more expensive than gold.
5w40 fully synthetic seems to be...
Hence why I went to an independant for the same jobs.
You don't need to be Volvo trained to do those changes. Bread & Butter stuff.
Evening Rufe,
They didn't specify the belt change I did.
I bought it with 80, 000 miles on and wasn't sure so had it done for peace of mind. As you say better safe than sorry :D
Depends where you get the service done.
Used to have a C70 T5 and the 80,000 mile service was £350.
This included the cambelt being replaced and was done at a local station.
No the service...
My thoughts exactly Fraz!
Thought as much, no way I'm buying it then. He's confirmed it's not been done yet. Could snap on the bloody way home!
Shame cos it looked nice.

Anyone ever heard of this on the S70 T5 CD?
"the very rare factory lowered suspension option which helps the
chassis handle the power much better than the standard suspension"
The car's done...
Cheers BB the CD advert doesn't state the transmission so I've sent him a huge email with a dozen or so questions in it :D
The 'R' is about 8 miles away from me so I might pop round tomorrow as...
Ah but if the T5 CD comes with the winter pack it'll have most of the same toys anyway won't it?
And if it's getting a Stage 2 upgrade then performance isn't an issue.
So it's down to a slight...
