So if I pull the MAF connector, it should run? Seem to remember that from a previous car.

Hi all, sorry I've not been about much. Time, family, work etc.......
Right, my 04 plate S60 T5 (which I will sell once it's fixed!) has become more and more difficult to start. Turns over but...
Reluctor ring was broken in two. If anybody's doing this job, it's quite simple. Remove brake caliper and disc as a unit. Remove top two bolts holding hub carrier onto suspension strut. Now use a...
Brilliant write up. From my 2 ex plods, I'd also add that the kit you find installed is also very entertaining! Full steel tubular underguard on my V70 and big steel bracket on the lower dash on my...
Reluctor ring being a hub off job? I hate ball joints...
Odd one this. At slow speeds, less than 15mph ish, when turning the stearing past about a turn, there can be a quite loud and pronounced brake judder, like the ABS kicking in. Can do the same when...
A few weeks on and it's still A1, looks like a simple cure :)
Rag the §§§§ off it :)
And we have a solution, it's fixed!
I tried an Itallian tune up which failled as it limped every time I restarted the engine. I kept at it for about 10 restarts then it finally just stopped. Now...

It's had a new governor valve, a new intercooler (split) and a new control valve. Still going into limp home mode on a very regular basis. Codes are inabillity to control boost pressure and both...
Had the connector off the ABS module today, cleaned it and reconnected. In fairness, it was clean as a whistle to start with. Still the same problem. Time to read codes? If it's a sensor / ring,...
Hi Folks,
The traction control on my S60 has been increasingly kicking in on wet roundabouts over the past few months to the point where I just turn it off now before driving. Now ABS light keeps...
Hi guys,
Anybody ever replaced one of these? Seems quite straightforward but I thought that about the intercooler....
Cheers,
Ian
£27.43? Sounds good to me!
Cheers :)

Unless the garage is linked to the Volvo system, you're ££££ed. Off to the dealers layer this week. Fortunately, I talked them into just replacing the front of the key, not the whole thing. £120 not...
OK, found a guy who says he can do it. Fingers crossed.....
Update:
If you're going to knacker your own key, make sure you don't do it on a Volvo.
"Can't do Volvos mate, my machine won't touch them" Is a phrase I have heard about 20 times this morning....
Good plan sir!
The aerial is moulded in, can't repair without cutting it open. It's a flip key yes. Seems like a centre conductor and shield so can't solder it without cutting it open.
My s60's key doesn't have a key ring as it wore through before I bought it. Mrs PTT bought a lovely keyfob with a picture of Isabelle in it for today. So, I dismantled the key, found what I thought...
Sorry, bulletproof? I just bout it of ebay mate, mentioned it was ex police though......
Since owning the car, this has got steadily worse. To the point now where it needs replacing ASAP. The windscreen is a police spec bullet proof jobby and is about 3/4" thick. Trouble is that the...
