NSF drop link boot (upper) has a huge hole in it and the ball joint looks completely dry so i'll change that first of all

guys, is the road tax cheaper on 2000 and 2001 P2's ?
does anyone know when the changeover point is when teh road tax gets more expensive ? whats should i look out for in this respect ?

and the D5 newer shape (p2? if thats the correct terminology) is more expensive... looks as though you need 4k+ for one of those

gave it a full degrease today then ran the engien for 5 mins
sure enough a tiny drop of oil just below the turbo return pipe
its always amazing how small amounts of oil can get...

ive had a slow oil leak for some time now
has certainly made a mess of my driveway
i took a look underneath and the whole sump just seems covered in oil
above...
yep the inner track rod though.. the bit that contains the ball joint underneath the boot
presumably you have to split the other ball joint first from the knuckle/upright
and then wing the rod...
