I think the rear spoilers on the saloons are just clamped onto the bootlid.
If you remove your third brakelight then it won't have any effect on your bulb indicator light on the dash...

I doubt it, I used a fastenings suppliers in Ashford Kent who would quite happily supply me with the odd nut and bolt.
If they can't supply you with lower numbers then it's there loss not yours.

You could try RS conponents or Maplin for the rolls of wire and for the bolts you might want to consult your yellow pages for a fastener suppliers, or they might know where you could get them from.

The dummy plug covers the socket to stop childrens fingers from going inside.
As Fraz said it should be live, but might be ignition live.
