Where are you getting this downpipe? I'm after one myself

Well the standard intercooler is wedged between the rad and the a/c condensor. The front mounted intercooler is right at the hole in the bumper so should in theory suck in a lot more vital cold air.

I want to upgrade my throttle body to the 960. Will the throttle body off a 2.5 960 work? Obe had the seller measure it and he says its 3 inches. Is that correct?

Mix and match. Wasn't that difficult. Some needed to be cut but as long as you have an angle grinder and sand paper you'll be grand

From them aswell.they have a universal kit that has most of the pipes with it.

Toyo tuning. It's a universal kit. Just make sure the intercooler isn't too big. Not much room to play with down there.

Put this on today. Wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. A lot of cutting and measuring involved. But was worth it. Pulls a lot harder. Turbo spins up quicker. Delighted with it.

yeah, would a boost/air leak cause it to run lean? because now that i think of it while on boost i can hear a kind of whine/whistle?

the ecu i have is mapped for a bigger turbo and bigger injectors, ill have to get a wideband controller to see what exactly is ever going on.

im running bosch or denso i think, would i be better going for standard volvo plugs?

exactly, least if its running rich you know the engine wont go pop!! i have put the standard ecu back in for now so ill get the walbro ordered, think its the mitsi evo one i need isnt it?

Purchased an ecu off a member on here, im running a 16t turbo with 3inch downpipe and 2.5inch the rest of the way, white injectors, drove the car with a new set of plugs for about 20...

make a codereader and get ur codes..doesnt cost anything really if you have a spare 12v led lying around.

Compression test will help alot here, your only guessing and relying on 3rd hand information. could save you a bit of money.

That hole should be there, looks like your rear main seal is leaking!

Could that noise in the video be the belt rubbing off the cover? Hard to really tell!!

Nightmare, I changed the belt myself when i had the engine out and the tiniest little movement can jump a tooth and the timing wont be correct, there suppose to use a cam locking tool but whether...

Sounds like a good start, there are plenty of guides around here and you cant go too far wrong when you have the engine out, say goodbye to whatever social life you have tho, my girlfriend hates me...
