Before you start upgrading you might wanna do a stage 0 , make sure everything is upto scratch. I notice your not goingfor the remap but Id still make sure everyting else is up to the job.

Strut brace is a good start .....ipd rear anti roll bar made a big difference to mine .

Ive repaired my ABS ecu , resoldered the joints ... all was good for a month and lights back on :-(

Thing is ive checked the codes and no codes come up ?

Id agree with Tomcat .... read the codes ... you can make a code reader cheaply (£1.38). You might need to resolder the joints on ECU . I did mine itsnot too difficult and there are lots of threads...
