I got the part mixed up in the thread title, but in the end it cost me £363 for new headlight units as they are complete units, you cant get...
I misunderstood (was in a state of shock lol) the mechanic, it was the reflectors that were knackered - the foil-type things in the headlight units.
So I got it back today, £363 later :(
I know...
Well, I had a chat with the mechanic today and it's the reflective metal that is faded/weathered/knackered.
He didnt go for my idea of stuffing some tin foil in there as the beam needs to be...
The way things are going I might move down to Shropshire mate!
They came into my work and told me the story, so I just said sort it asap.
Hopefully it will be ready tomorrow, and i'll ask them...
I've got a strut brace and Koni adjustables on mine. Standard springs at the moment...
On the road it's great, I used to have an astra gsi on stiffened shockers and it would knock your teeth out...
As I was just whinging about this on another thread...
My S70 just failed it's MOT today with the above knackered, and so requires two new headlight units.
It was only yesterday I was reading a...
Yeah I know, but me being an idiot forgot it expired today, so it's stopping there until they source the new lights (should be tomorrow).
I've definitely learned from this, that I should book it...
Well at least you wont have to spend nearly £400 to get it through its MOT.
Unlike me :( (failed today)
The 'levellers' are knackered on both headlight units, so apparently i've been blinding...
Good stuff! :B_steerin
It's always been on my 'to do list', but i've made sure i've got the brakes/suspension ready for it. That however comes at a price :(
And now other costs seem to be...

ooops, oh well, i'll be sourcing a torque wrench this weekend then!
(J35 M6)
Joe :)
I dont have a torque wrench so I just tightened them to FT (££££££££££ Tight) :sorry:
I got my carriers and discs from 'Marshalls', do a search on here to find the contact info ;)
Joe :)
That is a bit cheky! How lazy is that?!
Nice looking car though  I might buy it!
More likey just to be the switch, just give it a wiggle/push and it should come back :)
Yeah mine comes up with 'disc' sometimes, I just switch it from say, 'ave mpg' to 'ave speed' etc and it tends to come back :)
Ah right, thanks for that mate :)
As i'm not 100% certain that the EBC Saab discs will fit, I think i'll definitely go for the Volvo-specific 3g discs! :D
Cheers,
Joe :)
Anyone??
I'm now thinking I might go down the 3g route after reading through previous posts.
I'd want the 20 groove 302mm discs though, so I think i'd have to order them 'for' an...
My car already has the 302mm brakes on, but I warped one of them on a recent track day :(

Thanks for your replies people :)
I'm no good whatsoever at 'car work', I could probably strip it, but then i'd be screwed when it comes to putting back together again
So...
I think it's started after I got the 302mm brakes on, but it's really loud from the outside and annoying on the inside :(
It's just a constant 'squeaking' as the wheels are turning, but it stops...
Yeah cheers for that mate, are they much hassle to fit??
It doesnt seem to matter if I slam it or not, just goes balls-up at random, damned electrical faults! :(
No mate :( It just 'fixes' itself temporarily at random
