Yep. A few came with reinforced windscreens.
They were stronger than the A-pillar in some situations and could come away from the vehicle. Hence the reinforcement.
Looking good Lee.
I bet that thing grips like 5h1t to a blanket!
My mate's focus (mostly the same) did this and it was the fuse box under the glove box.
A swift kick got it going long enough to sell it...
I thought the v-spec II was the holy grail ;)
As Lee says, battery off.
Then have the key in the ignition and in position 1.
Turn the wheel to 3 o'clock and use a long t25 torx bit to remove the airbag bolt from the back of the steering wheel,...
I remember - that's when mine made 310bhp. Happy days.
Yeah, providing you have the more advanced dstc safety system, it can monitor and control the brakes on each wheel and cut the throttle if it...
The brake balance is controlled electronically.
It'll cope with different braking performance at one end.
Mine is lowered 35mm and I've not had any trouble with the arb bushes.
If yours are shot then change them but if they look OK, I doubt it's worth the effort changing them.
What's left to do?
It's something I've been thinking about but not yet gotten around to.
"how hard can it be...?"
How are you getting on with the apex springs Rob?
I found them a bit hard on the p2
You need to read the codes mate. The coils you changed may have been the wrong ones.
Seen this done but it was a long time ago and I don't know how it was done unfortunately.
4 grand for a 13 year old v70?
A larger turbo, 3" downpipe with 200 cell cat and bigger injectors would be a good idea too. You'll then get well over t5 power without straining the ancillaries.
There's an outlet pipe for the pcv, it connects to the inlet pipe, on the elbow that connects to the turbo inlet. It's attached to the ptc nipple (the only port with an electrical connection).
I...
For what it's worth, my car has never had the pcv done to my knowledge. I've cleaned parts of it once as a small banjo connection was blocked. That was when it was on about 175k miles. It's now on...
It's really not worth it, it does its job. It's the oilways in the ports that block and sometimes a feed pipe.
I fitted a 2nd catch tank to the pcv outlet, before it vents back to the inlet pipe. It...
They have a catch tank any way.
I added a 2nd catch tank to the system as the standard one is pants.
They're still prone to blockage regardless.
The standard one is complicated for a reason, just...
Yep - thermostat is probably shot.
Worth doing the temperature sensor while you're at it.
Could be thermostat playing up.
Does the temp gauge get to the middle of the scale?
The subwoofer is an option that came with the premium surround. It would go inside the spare wheel.
Isn't that more an offset issue?
