i think that the V70's had 2 lambda sensors, one before and one after,so in that respect you cant.if it looks like it will go on you can always drill a hole, find a nut the right size and weld the nut...
if its not blanked off do so..if it is then ignore this useless post....lol
nope ,tried suttle, got good ear full, good job i had new batteries in my s**t deflectors!!!!oh well.....good luck with all your goodies jadeaggy, sounds like a right monster to be!!!!!
jeeez are any of you married??if so can you please tell me how to convince my live in bank manager i need to get all that lovely stuff!!!!i keep using the "you cant take it with you when you die"...

does anyone know how much a new BCS is?was thinking of changing mine as precuation..
right.did the same as you mate, put some fuel cleaner in,about 50 miles later light came on,,reset it and it kept coming on after about a week of driving..it was the o2 sensor that was knackered.think...
no idea what it could be but it doesnt sound right mate, got a rica 280,spins in first three gears no probs!!!!glad its up an running you nutter.....good luck with the problems....
top job matey,,,,glad it all went well,,

just been looking at QBM,they have a programmable wiper relay on there, cool idea!!is there anywhere over here that you can get one of these???
thats the same place i got my ideas from, and all the bits for the exhaust,,cracking site,,,even got 3" tubing!!!lovely!!!just got to get my arse in gear and make it fit!!!!
could be turbo oil return pipe, dizzy end camshaft seals, top of the cam cover there is a breather, mine came off chucking oil over the top, which then ran down the back of the engine onto the flywheel...
its not that bad to do its just the bottom srew on the dizzy cap thats a pain in the arse....bout half an hour mine took, but thats with me going "oooow whats that over there" and starting something...
im sure i saw that on a lorry i fixed the other day!!!!!its huge!!!!!good luck matey, looks like loads of fun coming your way..
thats the place i took mine through,,real easy...
well i had the 280 done becuase v-power was at £1.09 a litre round here, now i can get for 92p im a bit gutted,,i use v-power all the time now....
back firing sounds like over fueling,my light came on with code 231,which is running to lean or to rich at long term part load, but it could be 232-233,lambda was buggered so wasnt sorting the fuel...
the light that you described is ecu light,or lambda light as some people call it.
just had to replace a lambda sensor, there is only one on mine, its a 96 t5..
you only need to drill a hole in the pipe you are using, get a nut that is the same thread size and weld it onto the pipe!!!
checked the idle control valve Niles?
could be airleak,or idle control valve...there is a way to test the valve,i think adam from vt said if you can hold the revs at 2000 nice and steady without it trying to rise then the valve is...
all the best matey, and dont forget to look after yourself!!!!!
