Just to give my 2p's worth, i'm currently running on 225/55/R17's, so if mine don't rub, i'm sure yours won't :) Just get the bump stops changed.

Have you made sure all plugs to sensors haven't been knocked, and the little wire that plugs into the alternator is still in place?
That's interesting, to my knowledge, my ex plod has a normal turbo and normal pipes.
What does volvo say when you check with parts?
I know a guy who done the entire rear 5 windows on the v70 for £110 up in Yorkshire.
You'll probably find they will want to use their own film because of preference.
But just to clarify, when...
I hate it! So frigging slow! Lol
You'll find some in behind the wheel arch liners, under the chassis and behind the engine on the bulkhead ;)
I know you are losing heart, trust me buddy I've had the same with my T5.
She's getting old, so we need to keep chucking parts at her to fix it.
To give you an idea of what I have had to do to...
Good drills buddy, coming along nicely.
Must admit I'm a little jealous of your garage set up :(
After more investigation about the key barrel i have managed to bypass it with help from my friends.
I think i need a replacement barrel itself in order to square this problem away.
At least...
Some of you may be aware of the issues i have facing me regarding my Ex plod T5 V70.
In quick succession i've had wishbones snap, Driveshaft snapped, fuel line split and now the Ignition Barrel...
Bugger, a choice I didn't want to make. Lol
Only had the one key with my car, broke the only transponder.
The key and fob can still unlock the car thankfully. It just comes up with the message car failed to start. Doesn't help when you break...
All I need is the transponder chip and it coded.
I don't need it putting into the key or anything.
Btw this is on the V70 T5 2004.
So, I got a big carried away and changed the key fob case. (This type)

.... And smashed the transponder essentially stopping me from starting the car. ...
It's been a while since i have updated this thread, not a lot has changed since... Until today!!
Acquired myself a rear Spoiler, and made a trip to the Scrapyard to pick up a few bits; Door seal,...
Thank you, i have bookmarked that website for when i come round to rebuilding the engine :)
For now, i have already popped another engine in and its on the road.
I know that the Abs Ecu is a common issue, fingers crossed in his and my case that it isn't.
I'd explore all other areas before checking the module buddy, i know for a fact on mine the Driveshaft is the one causing the issue, the Cog for which the abs reading is taken from is missing a tooth...
Videos as promised!

Something i must ask here, is it physically slow cranking? or it cranks fast but fires late?
Slow cranking would suggest a weak battery or weak connections on the battery feeds to the starter...
Looking very nice mate :)
Never mind, think I've sorted it. Went through all battery terminals in the engine bay, turns out the starter motor connections were more loose than well oiled chain.
Tightened and cleaned them up...
Well, fantastic news to start with! I got the V70 on the road.
However... I had a few issues with Batteries today, I put a new one in as i was under the impression that the old one was duff, when...
Been a while since I've updated this, had a major setback in that the engine I had put in had compression issues.
So after a lengthy trip up to Birmingham, I picked up a replacement complete...
lol yeah i guess so, so now i'm trying to track down an engine that runs, preferably one that i can get at a reasonable price haha.
