i have a aisin automatic transmission ecu that is knackered.it has 33.3 on it,could i fit one with 34.3 on it or is it a no go?

had it plugged in but no faults read as it wouldnt communicate with the car :(

i spoke to volvo mechanic friend who said the solenoid on top of gear box could be damp or knackered.after cleaning i drove it round block to find that over 20mph it loses drive and wont change up!?

Driving home just now,and the gearbox on my 850 t5 seemed to dissengage and start free wheeling!?.Then to make things worse when i switched it off and removed key the ignition kills stereo etc but...

fuel filter and all hoses changed for silicone ones.im stumped...it only does it 1 in 5 times.I use normal unleaded fuel most of the time and super unleaded sometimes.

ive already changed maf sensor aswell so im at a loss with it...no fault codes either! will let you know if i solve it
