A proper flush requires quite a lot of fluid, around 14 litres minimum iirc.
Same basic set-up as an 850 flush but iirc the fluid runs the opposite way through the cooler so you drain via the bottom...

On the bright side it's only the turbo. I only say this from my experience of a P2R.
Anyone who owns a P2R will know the worse one is when the coolant low warning comes up suddenly, that'll be...
Yours AWD too isn't it Monkey?
Drag loss through the gearbox probably is a lot lower but the friction created by the tyres increases with the heat and speed a lot. So many factors are dependent,...

Bet it makes more than that now.
Volvo S60R - 343hp 347ftlb.
Running heavy 15w50 oil and crank sensor playing up.
I'll get it run again somewhen once I've sorted the interference it's picking up on the crank sensor which can...
Good write up there, excellent work. Mine has just gone (60k miles from an uprated one) so looks like I'll be having some fun very soon as I don't want to be destroying the input shaft on the Angle...
That's one with a straight rod for an angle flange ME7 DP and turbo, you need one with a swan neck rod for the 850 straight flange.
Never heard of a T4 running a Garrett turbo from the factory.
They only ever used the TD04-14T with the only difference being the P1.5 and P2 cars with the larger cc engine used the twin scroll one...
The T4 will throw a crank position sensor code if the compression is too low.
I really wouldn't bother with the T3 variant as it's also a higher compression engine so no good for fettling.
Have...
What boost are you running Claymore?
The standard regulator maintains 3 bar injection pressure so if your running 1.5bar boost it will run 4.5bar pressure (or thereabouts) to maintain the 3 bar...
thirsty fella lol.
Tolerence for an 850 is up to 1 litre per thousand miles iirc.
None taken Huw.
It is my writing thank-you Hamish but I will take it as a compliment that it is of a standard that you think it was someone elses, in fact I find it quite amusing that you think that.
If you would...
I quoted that earlier but got rubbished by Hamish and then further quoted other sources which were sound in nature citing published works however these seemed to be immaterial too. :nono:
You are correct Hamish in that if we were running the engine on Methanol due to its lower calorific value we would need to inject far more Methanol to compensate however we are not injecting the...
It's advised not to use ethanol due precisely because of it's corrosive nature Andy.
Isopropol alcohol or Methanol are the two main ones although the latter being 'biodiesel additive' is far...
Whether Don is bitter and twisted or Ashok is a retard is beside the point quite frankly.
Again you've got lost in and hung up on one point which is the calorific value of Methanol although lord...
Still proving you don't know how referencing works there Hamish.
Yes that book published four edition in 2008 titled 'Combustion' and written by a world renowned Doctor on the subject is hundreds of years old isn't it
It's call citing sources and backing up your arguement Hamish, something that is rather lacking, as usual, in your arguement.
Your quite right it won't straighten the spring, well done on that...
Whilst undoubtedly the extra torque puts strain on the DMF, as with many components on a remapped car, on a petrol the torque is made higher up the rev range so doesn't give it quite the battering a...
Hamish my apologies if you were upset by the insults. I didn't think they were that cutting never the less if you were upset by them then apologies and also to the mods if they felt it was a little...
