I've got to stop looking 'cos the Missis is complaining about the drool by the 'puter!
Fantastic look mate. Hope you are well chuffed!! :B_thumb:
Wahey! Fitted it at lunchtime. Completed a run tonight that I do At least twice a week. The whole car feels tighter and you can feel the suspension doing its thing.
mazza: In answer to your...
Arrived at work this morning. My hunch proved correct with the return address on the package.
Now I have just got to find the 5 or 10 minutes to fit it!!!!
TTFN.
£74 hard earned pounds. I think the seller is RTMechanic 'cos the link at the bottom of the description went to his website, so I feel 100% confident that it will fit. Item no. 130022567212 if your...
It claimed to be in the item description. Won't be happy if it turns out not to be.
If you do that for fun, then you should pack in the day job!! You could make shed loads!!!! (Discounts for forum members, of course!!! LOL)
Bought one of e-bay yesterday. Should arrive this week hopefully!!! :)
Hi Guys.
Do you think this set up will work as well (or better) on an S70?
Very subtle. Not that intrusive to the overall look of the car.
Let us know how you go on with the K&N kit? Thinking of doing something similar to my s70. Noisey when you hit the loud pedal!!!!! ...
Hard luck mate. These things have a habit of jumping up and biting you in the bum!!
Just a thought, but you could always put some silicone sealer around the cover that fits over the plugs if the gap is small enough.

Try tyre soap, fairy liquid or swarfega on the bush to lubricate it on the way in. I find it helps on Golf III/IV rear axle bushes.
As far as removing them goes, set light to the rubber with a blow...
Alright Chap.
That figures regarding the reflector. The same thing happened to mine hence the link to Ebay.
On the old 240 series Volvo used to supply all headlight part seperately, but the only...
Hi jo5eph.
I have just bough a pair of headlights from this guy:
I changed them because of poor reflectors. They are ok.
Theoretically, you headlights should not fail on u/s adjusters unless...
Hi Grumpybob.
I would think that you passenger door fault is down to a sticking/faulty actuator. Do you have a key hole on the passenger door? If so, try unlocking it with the key, if the...
Thanks guys.
Might "poly bush" and fit a strut brace first then.
Dan850r: We live close to each other. Perhaps we can get together sometime. Would you be happy taking me out in your car for me to...
Hi People.
I think it's time to start modifying!!
I have an '97 S70 T5 CD and have had a look on variuos sites but the choice is sooo confusing!!
What I am after is a kit...
My S70 does that. Don't know why. I WILL get round to looking at it sometime.
My only thoughts are that it is down to localised heating of the coolant around the turbo or head area.
Just looked at mine. I've only got the one. Normally both are together.
BTW like the orange detailing. How have you done it? Powder coating?
That's good 'cos it will be a bit longer before I wear them out.
I'll probably have a brake upgrade by then!!:smileypul
I think Autodata give about 1.6 hrs for remove and install, so it can't be too bad.
I'm led to believe that on phase 2 V70's, the dealer can set the lights to your own preferences. Is this true or is it just a case of pulling a fuse?
I always fit new pads with new discs. It's false economy not to.
The outer 3/4 inch of the inside of the discswere corroded and scaley. Outside was fine. Is this a familiar/common problem?
I know it's slightly off thread, but do the poly suspension bushes make a big difference?
