ok these were the answers i was looking for, they look much neater and as long as i dont lose any functions from the dash display i wont be too fussed about the boost gauge as i have aftermarket...

yeah, I tried boosting the neg trigger output using a relay but no joy. You can still lock all the doors with the key from the passenger side though, so with hinesight wiring it in to the passenger...

fitted a few to my old jags, easiest install ever.
this post needs to be 850 specific as someone somewhere knows the answer to the lock negative trigger issue.

Ok, more than likely some of you have aftermarket keyless entry systems on your 850`s and may of installed them yourselves.
Because the range on the factory systems is pretty poor and tempremental...
Im thinking maybe my car is an import or something and might be worth checking its VIN to find out where it was built as not all remotes/cars are compatible depending on market etc?........
will be replying soon once i sort the non programming out, not worth buying more remotes if the system has a fault

mine has the break glass sensor and as said uses the remote in the first pic, i have bought both types and will see which one programmes and get back.
They were only a couple of quid so nothing lost
