Are you running stock induction and exhaust??
Sounds like you have a prob somewhere Ian, mine went from 9psi to 15psi(original pressure I was running)!! You should notice a big diff in performance espically in the higher gears!! I can't get grip...
Yeah mine reads -20 on tick over, only get + pressure above half throttle!!
Yep!!!

There is part of the wiring loom that goes through the bulk head round about where your foot pedals are!!! Just poke the tube in through the grommet and route it where you want it to go!! I had to T...

I do beleive you can but you have to do a bit of re-wiring!!! Look on www.s40concepts.net they have done anything and everything on there!!!
I have PI springs on mine that drop the front 50mm and the rear 25mm, i'm running 215/35/18 and get slight rub on full lock on the front!! Don't think you'd be able to go to 19's IMHO!!...
Right the BCS is what all your turbo pipes are connected to(1st pic), it's by the air filter and has an electrical plug attached! Just blank off all the ends, I used some pipe I had lying around with...
Ours boost to around 9psi standard!! I'm running 14psi but you do that on yours at your own risk!!! :shockedbi No having a go if you do run that and the pistons go bang!!! :shockedbi
Apparently the...
Yeah mine sits about the -20 mark!!!
It won't show full boost if you just reving it, the car needs to be under load, say in 4th gear them pin it!!! Even then it won't go straight up to full boost, it'll go up gradually and as you get...
Certainly didn't get any brake fade, they got stronger the harder you pushed em!! Don't get any vibration under normal driving but when on a track they seemed to take a while to get going, but once...
I bought a set of Black Diamond grooved discs for mine with EBC green stuff pads!
Did Nurbergring with em and they were superb, only thing i did find is until the get really warm when pushing them...
Yes as long as you don't go over 15psi boost, you will need to get performance exhaust and at least panel filter for the air intake though!!
That is from my experience with my car but cars are...
If I remember correctly it's the same one you t the dv into!! I had to do mine right near the turbo up the back of the engine as otherwise the pipe wouldn't reach!!!! Careful though make sure you...
Stock boost for the 2.0t is 9psi! You can run 15psi at the limit which is why mine is backed down to 14psi just to be sure!!
No point putting air flow meter on our cars as they don't use the wide...
I'm running mbc with 14psi with decat, 2.5 custom system and induction kit and i'm getting a bit more than that 203bhp!!! You will need to do induction and exhaust if you increase boost regardless of...
None, it dumps the air out through the filter instead of the dv so didn't make any diff!!
Er you don't need to re-map, i'm running a mbc with 14psi on a 2.0t, granted I do have induction decat and 2.5 system but standard turbo! I'm getting over 200bhp, according to a dyno day held at SW...
I bought a gauge and mbc package off flea bay for about £40, had em fitted for 2 years now and found em very good especially for the money!!
Boost gauge is a doodle to fit! The mbc is a bit trickier...
If you just want it for the noise then don't bother get a BSR insuction kit!! Had Bailey DV on mine for about 18 months, had fitted the induction kit same time as the DV. Took DV off to sell recently...
If its a phase 1 then no to both a pain I know, Phase 2 and it should tell you in the owners manual!!!
