That's a huge margin. My 2.0T runs at a steady 93, I would think similar for the T4.

I am guessing it is just the bars across the roof and not rails with cross bars. From what I remember there will be a fixing under a cover on the feet of the bars, mine was an allen headed bolt, and...

Mitsubishi engines have a reputation for crap running and needing de-cokes every so often. There is a way to identify them but I am not sure what it is, maybe engine number will have a code in it.

150K seems to be the life of the turbo if you are after one of these.

If you really, really want to have it undone take it to one of the fast fit places, preferably one that does trucks and drop the guy a bit of beer money for using their BIG IMPACT GUN. I did this...

Like wot readview says. Also if you can take the small cog off and turn it 180 degrees and replace and it should be good as new.....unless a previous owner has already did this!!!

JS7, I have a friend who would do almost anything for one of those snatch type thingys. He has an old army lightweight just now and uses it where it is meant to be used. Are they pretty gutless then?

I fitted my bruvs back in from the top, 2.0 20v. Someone else removed it from the top also. Replacing an engine that has been removed by another body is so difficult it has put me off doing it again,...

Not had it long, if i remember it had 140ish on it when I got it. Now has a Towbar and caravan to pull, somehow I dont think it will last much longer

As far as I am aware my '98 s40 2.0T is still on its original clutch at almost 160K.

Mike, if on the off chance the box is similar to a 2.0 20V the level/filler plug can be got at after taking off the passenger side wheel. You can then see the side of the box, there are 2 large hex...

I suggest any one with an S40, next time you are cleaning the car, clear all the mud from this area. I almost had to chip the mud away today. It is a rust hole waiting to happen.
