try using 700 mb discs if you can find them im using tuffdisc brand in an 801 plus other brands but 800 mb discs have a diff lead in on them so it wont read them

if its the original unit you should get away with it as its already matched up to the car and i think the 801/3 units dont need a code either? hope fully you should be able to plug it back in...

not sure about non dolby systems but mine took a bit of working out and some great help from folks in here, try this link theres a lot of info in there...

on my unit 801, im sure there there was just the green plug, the speakers were wired up to the amp, cept the centre one, m8 was up looking at it and sussed out that the instructions on the page...

no idea what the sound is going to be like with out the std amp but what im getting one the dolby setting so far is real good, to my ears anyway, but ill try fitting the clarion unit in straight...

you might need the pc 9-414 lead set too if your using the std amp, scroll down about half way
