What does he charge btw?
I would go for 10/40 semi synthetic, I used Halfords own brand on my T5, its good quality oil too and as I change it every 6 months good value too.
Its all too easy to get carried away with names...
I got one of these on my 850 T5, sounds nice
I see you got a TDi mate, have you ever thought of upping the power?
Sounds good to me mate, how would I go about it, would you need to have the car there or just the ecu? Or would it be easier to come down to where you are and have you do it there and then, thats if...
Has anyone had their P1 TDi chipped or remapped, ive also seen the following boxes on Ebay and wondered if anyone has used one, will it cause me aggro?
I only ask as a previous forum member took...
Has anyone had any experience using one of these boxes, I went in a car with a forum member a while ago, he had a tuning box fitted to his Auto TDi and it went like a standard T5 almost, I was well...
The car has been laid up for almost a year, do you think it will pump itself up? someone told me that they squat down after being stood and it will raise up again after it bouncing up and down a few...
My back end of my 855 sits dead low, thinking it may be worn soggy Nivomats, can these be swapped easy for a set of H/Duty rear springs and conventional shocks, or will the car lift itself back up...
I have even promised SWMBO to let her have some portrait pics done of the baby as she has wanted them for a while, also she just found out she is preggers again (4th child) other 3 are boys so we...
Its been sitting on the back of my recovery truck for a while now, but my old Laguna finally gave up the ghost last week after running it on chip fat and Rose', I could have sorted it with another...
Well after traipsing through the small ads and flee bay it seems 850/70 diesels are hard to come by so it has given me the perfect excuse to put my 855 T5 back into action and spend the savings on...
I would grab that RIP kit with both hands, the aftermarket kits are about 500 notes IIRC, I made my own one up and it made a marked improvement
It sure looks ££££ed that mate, I dont know if this could occur through the recirc valve not working as this can cause the turbo to stall and chatter although I cant see it damaging like that though...
Hi this thread is very interesting, ive done a RIP conversion using 60mm pipe and the old rubber hoses chopped about a bit, does a 960 tb bolt directly onto a 850 t5 manifold? I would love to do this...
That looks like my car lol, same colour, same number plate almost N *** JBW
Nothing wrong with Nankangs, good value I think, these are one of the better budgets, I seem to remember years ago that Toyos were budgets and Maxxis now everyones after them, tried and tested see
If you read that carefully it states that there are strict rules ang regs on part worns, most part worn outlets have to adhere to these and the tyres have all been checked, you will usually see a...
Another point: If you go ionto any tyre shop, like kwik fit ATS anywhere they will all tell you (the customer) that its false economy, dangerous to fit partworns anyone in the government will say it...
What you dont hear about are the hundreds of defects that are found in new tyres, the amount of times (i have lost count) a customer has bought a car back in with either a massive bulge on there new...
It is perfectly legal and safe to repair a tyre as long as its done in the correct way and is within a certain zone within the tyre, a professional tyre fitter will know this zone, We were told never...
Well said, my point exactly and that old chestnut about 2nd hand tyres are a false economy you are skimping on safety is a load of rubbish, if you know hat your getting, its a decent tyre a 3rd of...
Only new tyres i buy are remoulds, absolute bargain :)
Ok so you go out buy the most expensive tyres you can find for your car, costs you £££s of pounds, a week later your cars engine goes pop, or gets written off sitting on the side of the road, you...
Who said it isnt decent rubber? Ive been in the motor trade for a very long time and like to think I know the difference between a knackered tyre and one with plenty of life in it, like anything just...
