Looking to get another T5 (850 / S70 / V70) and seen this pop up on eBay - http://tinyurl.com/j4culfw
Anyone know it / know the previous owner as the ad reads ok (apart from the gearbox!).
I think you've got a headlight bulb blown there ^
Yup, all fine. Let me know payment details when you're ready.
Nice one! Pleased to say mine also went straight through with no advisories on Wednesday :)
My S60 did this, it was the MAF. Also when scanning it the fault code pointed to that too.
Shouldn't be too difficult. I'm picking them up tomorrow, so once I know they work I'll bung something up!
In answer to my own question (and coz I finally got off my arse to have a look!), yes a bulb was out. It's one of the little cap type ones that are about a fiver from Volvo. I've bought some of the...
Just a quick one, on the headlight switch on my V70...
I think I'll just bite the bullet and get the tool, should be fine with an array of other things in getting them out then (who has an air chisel in real life!?). I can then always sell the tool on /...
You'd say that using the tool made it much easier to remove / replace them?
Yeah have come close to cracking down the drilling route, but mine will be done with the axle in place and a weekend to do it. I'll need the car back on the road on the Monday, so no room for not...
Hello all, I'm going to be replacing my delta link bushes shortly and although the tool isn't too expensive (£50 -...
Lovely looking thing, great find!
I didn't want anything for them btw!
I was meaning for the rubber cones, not the bolts. As far as I'm aware they are the same as the normal ones just slightly longer with the addition of the cones?
I have a used pair in the shed somewhere. They will need a dab of loctite before fitting. PM me if you're interested and want me to try and dig them out.
What a beaut! Makes me think I should clean mine :parhmph:
Yeah, do share!
Oooh, how easy was this to do? I was going to look into this to keep my little one quiet
You've made me think I need to clean my car now.
...and I really didn't want to!
The key thing confuses me! What are the keys coded to? I would have thought they were to the ECU, however obviously people swap out ECUs and I see no mention of keys changing hands too.
Went to look at this V70yesterday, overall not bad. Pulled well, did a compression test and scanned it for any codes, all was fine.
Had some prancing moose stickers on, so wondered if it was...
Can't remember from when I started it this mornign tbh, it just seemed to start normally and idle was fine, could have just dropped straight down to around 750rpm rather than doing the usual warm up...
Sorry, signature updated :P
Issues are on my S60 T5 (2001).
I have cleared the codes with the reader and it pops back after 60 seconds or so. The live temp readings from my code reader are the...
