850 odb1. Could well be the line, I've lost enough fluid to put the header tank from max to a third over min, I didn't fancy getting on my back in my work clobber. The clutch has been a tad shakey...
You know I thought that when I had a shufty, just near where the arm enters the housing isn't it? Hopefully this is just a blip in Pauls memory from working with too many V70s and it won't require...
yerrrrrrs, that might be a good idea :) with all new seals and cylinder headers the old girl might be a tad more inclined to to take a bit more of a shoeing.
Got in car this morning, warmed her up for a minute, went to drop it in reverse and, eh? no resistance, 2nd press, pedal to floor, toe'd it back up and now it's dead only returning on the arm spring....
I got one so if you need some pics 'in the wild' let me know n i'll snap some tonight
lol, I meant CM oops!
I've got some 15 inch FLI 3 way in the rear, got them to fit the OEM cone houseing with a couple of tap screws and some silicone seal as i think the rears are 16, works like a charm. I have 15inch...
Loving your cone housing mate, that's deffo one for the mod list...
I think you have a 1950's flying saucer trapped in there! Would've agreed with merc from your description but after hearing it I have no idea.
Looks good Pete, who did the work for ya? I got my bonus burning a hole in my pocket and I think this would be a lovely treat for the old gal. ..
You and your corrosive jokes. ...
If that is surface I'll eat my hat. You need to get that plastic off, you'll find that the bit you can see if probably tip of the iceberg :(
You ever used kurust or that other one that strips rather than converts (name escapes me)? I like to use a coat or two of that in hard to reach nooks or thin panels where the rust has crept out of...

Ebay mate. Bur make sure you check the year on the listing as some are slightly different. Mine was £2 posted.
Mate that sucks :( when I got mine it had a full 360 keying, all through to base and some down to metal and I've hidden 70% of it so all is not lost! Someone spat on mine last week, getting sick of...
Yeah I had oil §§§§ing out of my return feed, probably lost 1.5 litre on the voyage home after buying her, soon fixed by the lads at p.w volvo when they did the pcv.
It's Brown ;)
Cheers chaps, no not even a second glance at anything, so I treated her to a set of Hankook Ventus V12 evo, nice tyres so far :)
Morning guys,
I've been away for a few weeks, life has seriously got in the way :(
But, good news is my old girl passed her MOT with flying colours today on her 19th birthday, bless! What...
That is a slick motor! nice find
Very nice, what did you prep them with first? I'd be cautious about dyeing straight onto the chalking as with a little agitation it powders off!
Yeah, well spotted jotter, they were rear shocks, and per shock :( thought it looked to good to be true, that'll teach me for entertaining my missis talking about bags in a sale and doing serious...
Yeah that is good value, but I'm already on course for the top mounts n rear shocks from Merc, so I could probably get better kit for around the same outlay.
