Hi every1!
my s70 feels quick to me, it did a 14.5 at santa pod too, but i want MOOOAAARRRRRR!
it has a 'longlife' stainless cat-back system.
my mate can de-cat it for me easily, but i dont...
And if your local to Medway in Kent, we'll have a go at it! :)
I had the big flat faced lockers with the wiggly line cut out on my s70, I used a 24mm impact socket and a 7lb club hammer! Then a good twist with a cracker bar, and bobs your uncle!
Good luck...
My top tip is,
Change the inexpensive dizzy cap and rotor arm first before getting all confused over white gold plated rare metal plugs from the moon! All plugs need a strong current to perform...
Well, i've properly gapped, and re-fitted the volvo plugs, and replaced the knackered dizzy cap and rotor arm..................................... and it foooking flys!!! :D the fastest its ever...
Hi, my s70 t5 is rica'd and running around 14psi, I just fitted new ngk platinums and its crap! Badly splutters and coughs on boost? I'm thinking of closing the gaps on the plugs first? What do you...
Is nice! borat

Purly to make room for my little turbo,
(p.s....
Vred Ultrac's FTW!
run about 8 psi on santa-pod for a wicked fwd launch!
Now she looks like this,

I've painted the original rims, they fit so...
I had a 3-port bleed valve on my T5, set it to 14psi, and it was spot on!
?
The higher psi is not created by the external valve, the "18psi" that the original bov is rated at can be upped to around 25-30psi if using a good quality external dump valve (hks, bailey ect..)...
The smell could be hot oil.
My 850 T5 used to smell of oil after a thrashing, check your dipstick when running and hot, does it puff out some smelly steam? might not be this, but then again?
Well to be honest, the 15g in the car is screwed!!!!!
I'm collecting another 15g from my good man 'Niles' tommorow morning, and when thats fitted i will have a fair idea of boost! as for engine bay...
here it is now, with a 15g bolted on!
and yes i know i need some spacers! :sorry:

Hi, will my f-reg 740 2.3 hpt have a similar fuel cut as my 850 t5 at 14psi???
Cheers, Tom.
Yea mpg was scary driving it home???
Not castle road i'm afraid?
Yes ebay shone through again.
The RWD + manual thing was the winner for me.
I used to be an avid member of Trampdrift with my 535i manual.
This should be more fun though!
Here she is!

Mine did 180,000.
But the gearbox gave up, and the crankcase pressure went through the roof?
Other than that it was good as gold! :)
Hi, As i watched my wrecked 850 t5 as it was rudely grabbed up and thrown ontop of an unsuspecting omega, i wondered if my wheels / turbo / injectors / intercooler / boost pipes ect.. that i had...
Well it does create downforce on the rear end! ;)
Thats probably fine mate,
My "chav" valve usually gets an oily residue around the outlet holes!
Just excess crank breather oil (probably/hopefully?) :)
