Could be either of the fuel pumps, is it slow to start? If so it may be lift pump in the tank. There is also the high pressure fuel pump on the engine.

You need a good Volvo specialist with VIDA...

Could just be the reluctor rings on the driveshafts or a dodgy sensor. Mine suffred with this for a bit, so I just just turned off the STC before each journey, turned out to be a reluctor ring.

The turbo was stripped and cleaned 30k ago so hopefully its ok. They smoke tested the intercooler and its leaking.

Mines had an LUK clutch in it for 4 years/80k miles and is still going strong. Didn't need to change the DMF but did do the slave. DMF still seems ok even after 180k miles.

Its on 181,000 miles now so is probably worth doing, I will be sure it give it a go, just about the brave the crappy weather and head outside to do it.
