Yeah thought it might be an earth fault. Hadnt thought of the ignition barrel will strip down at the weekend plus check connections to clock.

I would have to agree with Muscas especially in these wintery conditions. MY2000 V70r AWD handles the power well, corners on rails and can go anywhere. Take the advice of other members though the AWD...

dont know if anyone else has had this problem but the rear wiper on MY1999 V70 only cleans/touches the bottom third of window. Have changed the blade twice to no avail. Its a real problem this time...

OK, so not very technical but where is the dipstick for me to check the ATF levels on MY2000 P1 V70R AWD?
On my old 854 T5 it was obvious, even to me, two dipsticks one marked engine the other...

Yes the instructions with the exhaust said not to put any paste/sealant before cat so havent.

Ok, last question, on the exhaust matter anyway, have finally fitted new downpipe/cat. Thank god the new angled flange was slightly smaller than the original Volvo one, as it was a nightmare to get...

I have exactly the same thing on MY99 V70R, shutting the roller blind helps but most of the time i have it on tilt!!!
Would be interesting to see if its a common problem though?

Right, ive bought the new downpipe/cat for the 'R', have managed to unbolt old one from turbo and remove O2 sensors and rubber mountings but how the hell do I seperate the cat pipe from the rear...
