You are not stuck with single DIN if you swap to aftermarket.
Get a fascia adapter and stick a double DIN unit in there.
My HU850 is behaving perfectly (7 years old) even the 6 disc changer works...

I`ve just ordered the GROM aux-in for mine, it`s the only thing missing from my car.
Agree with MRP on the issues you can get with pre 04 cars, I`ve just chopped my '02 S60 D5 S in for a 2006 V70...

I was quoted for the full arm by a main dealer not too far from me as "we can`t just change the bushes, the whole arm is replaced".
Probably just trying...

Unusual for a main dealer to advise replacing just the bushes as the "official" Volvo method is to replace the entire wishbone.
Approx £150 per side when I had mine replaced at an indy, About £350...

New BCS fitted and, first time out, after about 20 miles sodding limp mode again, same as before.
Also managed to snap the top off the dipstick whilst swapping the BCS so has to go and get one of...
